With priorities pulling at us from every direction and each day bringing a new problem or challenge, it’s almost impossible to stop, think and be grateful.
I woke up this morning with a long list of to-dos, a full inbox (the struggle is real) and a packed day of meetings, trying to jam it all in before the holiday. But, my kids woke up in a completely different mindset. They were excited about the short week at school, a pep rally for the Thanksgiving Day football game, seeing family and friends and sleeping in. Ah, perspective is a beautiful thing.
As I shuttled them out the door to school, I soaked in their view on life. My family is a constant reminder of what’s important to me which, in the daily frenzy of running a business, can easily get subsumed with multi-tasking, traveling and the day-to-day hustle.
So, instead of November’s originally scheduled content around business growth, I decided to stop for a moment and say thanks. I am grateful for your partnership, creativity, innovation, passion and friendship. I wish you a wonderful holiday, complete with time to relax and soak-in the moments with your family and friends.
