Women’s History Month: A Simple Ritual That Changes Everything

In the whirlwind of balancing between Boston and NYC for a client, my mornings were a blur of dropping my kids off at school, racing to catch trains, and praying for smooth traffic en route to a 10 am meeting. Amidst this chaos, I was navigating a divorce while also launching a business – feeling like a frazzled mess.

But amidst the frenzy, there was a moment of connection that changed my perspective. Stepping into my client’s office after a hectic commute, we both acknowledged the challenges of climbing the corporate ladder. As we shared our experiences, it became clear – the higher you climb, the less acknowledgment and encouragement you receive. The accolades fade, the positive feedback diminishes, and the motivation wanes.

That’s when we decided to start a simple ritual: every day, we’d remind each other, “You’re doing a great job!” It was a small gesture, but it made a world of difference. And as we celebrate Women’s History Month, I’m reminded of the incredible women who are tirelessly pushing boundaries, breaking barriers, and making strides in every field.

So here’s my message to all the remarkable women out there: You’re doing a great job! Let’s say it loud and proud.

And let’s pay it forward:

✅ Share this message with someone who could use a boost today

✅ Give a colleague an accolade for their hard work

✅ Take a moment to uplift and inspire someone who needs it.

In the midst of our hectic lives, let’s not forget the power of encouragement and support. Keep shining bright – I’m grateful to have you in my orbit!

GIDDY UP! 🔥🔥🔥
