How to Get Unstuck & Breakthrough to What’s Next

What do you do when your business gets stuck?

Something is holding back the next level of growth.

You’ve tried everything and nothing is working.

Nobody’s Perfect (Not Even the A Team!)

We on the A Team spend our days looking ahead with our clients. Most of the time, this means allowing them see a new future by showing them how to lead with brand. We give them the information, advice, and insight they need to think and do differently. This is no easy task — it requires incredible brainpower, creativity and stamina every single day. And we LOVE it!

But, sometimes we get stuck. It happens, right?

We have a proven framework, but we can’t always see the answer at the starting line. Some strategies come easy and others require more time and thinking. We always get there, but it can be a super windy road. Not complaining — it’s exhilarating and exhausting all at the same time!

Our Take on Inspiration

There is no one-size-fits-all fix to getting unstuck (except maybe the A Team!). Still, here are a few things that work for us:

  1. Listening: We’re lucky here at Growth Street, because each and every member of the A Team is a human sponge for new information and ideas. Great new perspectives come from podcasts, Clubhouse, thought leadership, and more — you name it. We’re always in tune to our tribe!
  2. Outdoor time: When the A Team isn’t busy with item #1, you can find us in nature. Team favorites include dog walking, snowshoeing, gardening, or otherwise getting fresh air. Nature heals most anything!
  3. Family time: Nothing grounds us like good old fashioned family time. Sometimes, getting back to your roots is exactly what you need to get a fresh perspective.
  4. Music: Music is incredible for getting the creative juices flowing. Our founder Michelle Heath’s son even has a name for her creative playlist — he calls it ‘idea music.’

Where do you find inspiration? How do you get unstuck? What gets your idea flow going?

Growth is never a straight line. Be inspiring. Lead with brand. Oh, and as always…
